Fox News' Ailes not afraid of taking sides

Read about the man behind FOX News, Roger Ailes. Well paid and worth every penny of it in my opinion.

Excerpt:
Nowhere has this grand opera played out more forcibly than on Ailes' top-rated cable news channel, accused by some of peddling propaganda while celebrated by others as the only media outlet dedicated to aggressively challenging big government.

"Certainly, there are good things in this health care bill they're presenting, and there are bad things in this health care bill that people are trying to present," said Ailes, who will turn 70 in May. "Our view is people better know both and decide, 'OK, if I'm willing to pay this for these bennies, then that's good.' But they have to know what the price tag is."

Noting that 13 state attorneys general are suing to overturn the massive health care overhaul, Ailes predicted health care coverage "will be a long, drawn-out story, interwoven with other events."

  1. THIS HEALTHCARE "TAKE OVER" IS SO VERY UN-AMERICAN AND THE ATTITUDE OF SUCH ARROGANCE IS UNCONSCIENCABLE. WE THE PEOPLE SHOULD HAVE BEEN "ALLOWED" OUR RIGHTS AND BEEN ABLE TO HAVE THE DEMOCRATIC PROCESS OF OUR VOTING AT THE POLLS FOR THIS THING. IT'S A MONSTER, POTENTIALLY "DANGEROUS" FOR NOW OUR "PRIVATE INFORMATION" WILL BE HANDLED BY STRANGERS NOT JUST IN THE PRIVACY OF OUR DOCTORS OFFICES. I REALLY FEAR FOR THE DIRECTION OUR GOVERNMENT HAS TAKEN, IT IS NOT "AMERICAN"! TELLING US WE "HAVE TO" DO ANYTHING IS UN-AMERICAN. I THINK IT IS SIMPLY THE BEGINNING OF A REGIME THAT IS TRULY GOING TO DISMANTLE AMERICA AS WE'VE KNOWN IT. I PRAY WE CAN SAVE OUR NATION FROM TOTAL COLLAPSE!
