Morning Joe on Giannoulias' Poor Answer On Loans To Mobsters
Breitbart TV said it this way: Illinois Senate candidate Alexi Giannoulias was questioned about the loans his family's bank gave to known mafia figures: "I didn't know the extent of that activity."
The interview was on Meet The Press on Sunday and the answer was evasive. As senior loan officer, Giannoulias had to have known of these questionable loans. Guilt by association---maybe, but where, at least, was the modicum of due diligence needed to grant the loans.
