Crisis to Consolidation - Dr. David Jeremiah

Dr. Jeremiah's sermon today focused on the story of Joseph in the book of Genesis. Likening the current centralization of power in the Federal Government to Joseph's consolidation of all economic means under the pharaoh, he alerted us to the dangers he perceives in the consolidation of the banking industry and the ever burgeoning Federal budget.

Joseph used the 7 year famine to confiscate the crops, money, livestock, and land, and eventually move people into the cities, thus creating total control of the populous for the Pharaoh.

As I listened to him today, I remembered an article I read, a few weeks ago, about, I believe, one of Obama's "greenies", talking about reducing the number of cars on the road, expanding public transportation, thus necessitating the move of people from the outlaying regions into the cities.

Through taxation, and financial and environmental regulations, we are rapidly losing our freedoms.

This sermon is part of his series, The Coming Economic Armageddon.
