GOP Energy Alternative

Republican Congressmen Mike Pence, John Shimkus and Fred Upton have set forth a Republican alternative to the Democrats disastrous Cap & Trade bill now before congress. The Dem bill is just another on a long list of ways for the federal government to usurp funds from the American people to centralize power in Washington. In addition, the Dem bill would chase jobs overseas to avoid the taxes and increase utility bills exponentially.

The GOP bill, on the other hand, is a reasonable alternative, utilizing nuclear, domestic oil and natural gas, and the development of wind and solar. This bill would generate hundreds of thousands of jobs here in the USA , significantly lessen our dependence on foreign oil and thru nuclear, wind and solar, reduce carbon emissions drastically.
