My Opinion

Jennifer Granholm’s rousing speech about Obama saving the auto industry from bankruptcy panders to the uneducated. Obama did put GM and Chrysler through his own type of bankruptcy, one that cost the taxpayers billions, robbed pensioners of any hope of recovering their bond investment money, and rewarded his labor union cronies with control of GM and a foreign company with control of Chrysler. Romney would have followed the law and let the auto companies go into a legal restructuring that would have had the same or better results for the workers and not been a huge illegal transfer of taxpayer and investors wealth to the labor unions.

Obama bastardized the law, Romney would have lived within the law.
