Taxpayers Pay Big for Government Employees Benefits
The disparity between both the cost and extent of benefits for public employees and those in the private sector is enormous. Add to that the fact that the public roles are increasing at an alarming rate and private sector jobs are decreasing due to the economy, and you have another permanent crisis in the making and the citizenry is getting angry.
As Glen Reynolds states: "Right now the Political Class is more interested in explaining that anger away than in doing anything about it. But I think a tipping point is in the offing."
