Amends from a Recovering Liberal

In many ways the word "civil" has been absent in political dialogue for a number of years, both on the extreme Left and Right. However personal attacks, and even violence, by the left on anyone expressing conservative views are becoming the norm and are endangering our society. Attacks on Miss California for her mainstream marriage opinions, Governor Palin and Rush Limbaugh for their conservative ideology have escalated to the nth degree.

I believe that with the election of an extreme left President, the left has been emboldened and feel that they are untouchable and are supported by a biased press. Where is the MSM when you need them to focus on restoring a sense of civility to political dialogue?
